Jim Correll is a managing partner and founder of CRDG. He has been an active investor in real estate for 25 years and the past 6 years has focused exclusively on Costa Rica, leading the acquisition of multi-million dollar land developments there. Jim is a graduate of the University of Nebraska and holds a double major in finance and marketing. Prior to moving to Costa Rica, Jim was a Senior Vice President for Harte-Hanks (NYSE:HHS), one of the world's largest targeted marketing companies and served on the board of directors for Q Interactive-a Landmark company. Jim and his family live in Ocotal, Costa Rica.
Julian Rembert is a managing partner and founder of CRDG. Julian has invested in real estate and real estate development for over a decade. He was the founder and owner of North State Appraisal and is an equity partner in two development companies. During the past two years Julian has led the acquisition of multi-million dollar land developments in Costa Rica, and established CRDG's footprint there. Julian is a graduate of Presbyterian College in South Carolina. He majored in Business and received both a full football and academic scholarship. Julian and his family live in Ocotal, Costa Rica.
Brandon Dall'Acqua serves as the business analyst and corporate secretary for CRDG. He is responsible for business analysis, strategy, data management and accounting. Previously Brandon served as an operations specialist with a Bank of New York subsidiary and as an international accountant for Boston Consulting Group. He is a graduate of Northeastern University, with a dual major in Finance and International Business.
Gina Correll is responsible for marketing and investor communications for CRDG. She has an extensive background with over 25 years in sales, target marketing, analytics and client relations/services. Gina has served as a vice president for Fortune 500 companies such as Equifax, ADVO and Symphony Services. She managed large client portfolios for these companies which included Wal-Mart, Pizza Hut, Radio Shack, Pearl Vision Centers and NCNB. A graduate of the University of Redlands, Gina majored in Business and minored in Spanish. Gina and her husband Jim live with their two children in Ocotal, Costa Rica.
Karen Rembert heads event management and the Coco Bay Estates Tennis and Fitness Club. For 13 years she served as the tennis director for the North Hills Club in Raleigh, North Carolina. During her tenure there, the club grew into one of the largest in the south, and was honored by the United States Tennis Association with a Facility of the Year award. An award-winning tennis professional, Karen is an outstanding instructor who has enjoyed many successes with all ages and levels. In addition to winning numerous state titles, Karen was named North Carolina Pro of the Year, given the Educational Merit Award, and at the age of 36, the Lifetime Achievement Award from the state of North Carolina. Karen graduated from Presbyterian College on a tennis scholarship with a degree in Business Administration. She earned a Masters degree in Sports Administration from East Carolina University. Karen and her husband Julian live with their two children in Ocotal, Costa Rica.
Jose R. Ortiz is a native of Costa Rica and heads project management for CRDG. Jose graduated from the University of Costa Rica in 1981, where he majored in Civil Engineering. He attended Purdue University earning his master's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Construction Engineering and Management. Jose served as a professor and researcher at the University of Costa Rica and other universities. Founder of Zitro, S. A., Jose is the inventor/developer of Sistema Zitro, an industry leading, low-cost precast housing system. A project manager for major construction projects since 1997, Jose has served as the Director of Cost Control and Information Management for the Four Seasons Resort Project and other related projects on Peninsula de Papagayo, in Costa Rica. He oversaw the successful completion of this $300 million, high-end resort project that included 850,000 sq. ft. of buildings, and 60,000 linear feet of road infrastructure. He and wife Magda live with their three children in Playa Ocotal, Costa Rica.
Mauricio Urena is a native of Costa Rica and serves as CRDG's operations manager. Most recently Mauricio served as CEO and Branch Manager for Banco Cuscatlan. He has over a decade of experience helping businesses and customers with a wide range of financial products, and has worked directly with key international real estate investment clients. A graduate of the University of Costa Rica in Business Administration, Mauricio is certified in several English-language technology courses. He and his wife live in Liberia, Costa Rica.
Tyler Correll is a director of sales for CRDG. Tyler has over 16 years of client service, sales and sales management experience working for General Motors, The Walt Disney Company and Claritas, Inc., one of the world's largest and most sophisticated real estate and customer analytics consulting companies. Tyler graduated from the University of Nebraska majoring in Business Administration. He was a final selection member of the General Motors and Walt Disney World Co-op Education Program for VIP Guest Services. Tyler holds a California real estate sales license that he has used for personal investment management. Tyler brings a wealth of customer service and sales management expertise to CRDG. He and his family live in Playas del Coco, Costa Rica.
